Payment Operations Specialist - Nightshift (f/m/d)

Your mission:

As a Payment Operations Specialist at Bitpanda, your mission is to monitor and investigate online transactions for fraud and money laundering patterns, in order to mitigate suspicious behavior.

Please note: For this position the working hours are going to be from 10.30 pm - 04.30 am. Shifts are from Tuesday to Saturday and Sunday to Thursday.

What you’ll do:

• Monitor banking, credit card and crypto transactions in order to detect suspicious behavior
• Take ownership of AML & fraud investigations for online transactions that require further checks
• Monitor our system in order to raise operational issues
• Provide input and feedback towards system and processes improvements
• Grant operational internal & external support

What we’re looking for:

• At least 3 years of experience working for a fintech company in payments or risk department positions
• You have a Bachelor’s degree in Economics or similar
• Knowledge of AML, Fraud patterns, as well as payment schemes
• Knowledge and interest in the field of cryptocurrencies
• Fluent in English and German
